- 2. Sinj is a town (11,400) in the continental part of Split- Dalmatia County, Croatia. Sinj and Cetinska Krajina represent an interesting tourist area, and the major attraction is certainly the traditional Tilters Tournament of Sinj (Sinjska alka)
- 3. Located 34 kilometres from Split, in the heart of the Dalmatian hinterland, at an elevation of 320 m and 30 km from the Adriatic Sea, in antiquity Sinj was called Setovia
